Itinerary:
• DAY 1: MENARA AIRPORT - MARRAKECH
Welcome at the airport and transfer to our charming riad. Just a 5-minute walk away is the enigmatic Jemaa el-Fnaa Square, Marrakech's famous meeting place, with its incomparable atmosphere: snake charmers, dancers, storytellers and fortune tellers. Stroll around the square and have dinner at one of its many stalls serving traditional Moroccan food.

DAY 2: GUIDED TOUR OF MARRAKECH
After breakfast, enjoy a guided tour of Marrakech. We begin with the Koutoubia Minaret (13th century), a sister monument to Seville's Giralda. Its elegant proportions make it a landmark and spiritual center of Marrakech. Continue to the Saadian Tombs (16th century), notable for their central dome of Carrara marble. Then visit Bahia Palace (16th century), an example of aristocratic life in the medieval Muslim world, with its ambassador's hall and cedarwood ceiling. We then walk to Jemaa el-Fnaa Square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The tour runs from around 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Free afternoon. • DAY 3: MARRAKECH - HIGH ATLAS - OUARZAZATE - DADES GORGES
Depart from Marrakech via the Tizi n'Tichka mountain pass, crossing the Atlas Mountains and stopping to enjoy the magnificent views along the way, rest or take photos whenever you like. We continue to Ait Ben Haddou, one of the most spectacular fortified villages in southern Morocco and a filming location for several international movies, including Obelix, Gladiator and Sahara. Then on to Ouarzazate, Morocco's film capital, and along the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs. From here, we'll take a track where you'll have the chance to enjoy the peaceful mountain scenery and see the homes of Berber nomads. • DAY 4: DADES GORGES - TODRA GORGES - ERFOUD - MERZOUGA
After breakfast, we head for the desert via one of Morocco's most spectacular sights, the Todra Gorges. This is an ideal place for a walk and some exploring. • DAY 4: DADES GORGES - TODRA GORGES - ERFOUD - MERZOUGA
After breakfast, we head for the desert via one of Morocco's most spectacular sights, the Todra Gorges. This is an ideal place for a walk and some exploring. DAY 5: DESERT – VISIT TO THE NOMADS – BLACK PEOPLE – DESERT
Watch the sunrise over the sea of dunes. After breakfast, ride a camel back to Merzouga, then freshen up and visit Khamlia, known as the village of the Black people because its inhabitants are descendants of the former slave trade from Sudan. They are excellent musicians, and music is their way of life. Enjoy a short Gnawa music performance with them. Get back in our 4x4 and travel along one of the tracks used in the Paris-Dakar Rally, visiting the Khol mines and the remains of a French and Berber village. We'll stop to take in the panoramic views of the Erg Chebbi desert dunes. Meet desert nomads who are transitioning to a settled way of life; share some tea and learn more about their lifestyle. • DAY 6: DESERT – ERFOUD – FEZ
Watch the sunrise over the sea of dunes. After breakfast and a shower, we'll set out by 4x4 for the Ziz Valley via Erfoud, known for its fossils. We'll reach Midelt, an important town in the Middle Atlas, for lunch, then continue our journey to Fez via Ifrane, the “Moroccan Switzerland.” Arrival in Fez. • DAY 7: GUIDED TOUR OF FEZ
After breakfast, enjoy a guided tour with a local guide to discover Fez, especially its medina and artisan quarter, particularly the tanners' quarter. The oldest of the imperial cities, Fez is the country's spiritual center. We'll begin with a panoramic view from one of the surrounding hills, then head to the Royal Palace with its monumental bronze doors. We'll cross the Mellah, or Jewish quarter, enter the medina and explore its streets on foot. We'll visit the Mausoleum of Moulay Idriss and a medersa. • DAY 8: FEZ - CHEFCHAOUEN
After breakfast, enjoy a guided tour with a local guide to discover Fez, especially its medina and artisan quarter, particularly the tanners' quarter. In the afternoon, after lunch, we'll leave Fez for the small blue-walled fortress town of Chefchaouen, with its blue-and-white painted buildings and houses. • DAY 9: CHEFCHAOUEN - TANGIER
Leave this beautiful northern town and head for Tangier, the gateway to Morocco and Africa. Explore the bustling medina and the surrounding area, and enjoy the breathtaking views where the Mediterranean and Atlantic meet before visiting the Caves of Hercules.
• DAY 10: TRANSFER TO THE PORT OR AIRPORT
After breakfast, transfer to the port or airport, depending on your departure time. End of our services.
